Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I just saw a question about checking in early to the hotels. We plan to drop our bags and WL and head to MK immediately. Will the staff put our bags in our room when it is ready or do we have to collect them at the end of the day and take them up? Thanks!!

  • Howdy Irene!

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is quite possibly the perfect resort experience for children and families of all ages. You've made an excellent choice! If you get the opportunity when checking-in, ask how your family can be the "Flag Family of the Day". If not already booked, this free experience allows you to climb to the roof tops of Wilderness Lodge Resort to participate in the morning flag raising ceremony. The views will literally take your breath away! Be sure to bring your camera!

You're more than welcome to leave your bags with Bell Services upon your arrival and head over to the Magic Kingdom. I'd recommend taking the free boat service to the park, as there's something extra special about seeing Cinderella Castle from the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon! And it's yet another great photographic opportunity!

When you return to your guest room later in the day, simply press the "Bell Services" option on your in-room phone and your bags will be delivered to you directly. The only time luggage is brought to a guest room without the guest actually being in attendance is during Magical Express Service airport arrivals. You also may wish to offer the cast member delivering your bags a gratuity.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
