Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Staying in POR with a family of five....chose the least expensive room. Is there any benefit to upgrading to a preferred room? I believe all the rooms for 5 there are at buildings that are far from the main entrance anyway.

- Hi there David.
I've had the opportunity of staying at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside with a party of 5 and really enjoyed the experience! There is a special section of the resort called Alligator Bayou that features guest rooms with an extra pull-down Murphy bed. In this area, you can also choose to upgrade to a Preferred Room which will place your group in close proximity to the restaurants, transportation and main buildings of Riverside.
A great unofficial website that features a map detailing these Preferred Room locations can be found at: www.portorleans.org. You'll also find plenty of photos and reviews to help in your decision making.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted Disney vacation! Please feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your trip!
