  • pembe savana view vs. sunset savana view
  • - Asked by richard from New York on 7/7/2012
  • Hi Richard,

There are four different savanna views at Animal Kingdom Lodge:  Sunset, Arusha, Uzima, and Pembe.  Jambo House has Arusha, Uzima, and Sunset views while Kidani Village has Pembe and Sunset views.  The Arusha savanna will give you a view of Jambo House's beautiful picture window and is right off the lobby.  It will give you a wide variety of animals to view but you are also near the public viewing.  Uzima Savanna views is on the far right of Jambo House by the Uzima Springs pools and restaurants.  It is a wonderful area as well.  Pembe Savanna is exclusive to Kidani Village, and you is the only place where you can see okapi.  The Sunset Savanna view is where you will have the best sunset views and also the only place where you will see ostriches.  If I had to choose, I would go with the Sunset Savanna view.  Remember that requests for rooms are not guaranteed, however, the Cast Members at the Animal Kingdom Lodge do their best to honor them.  I know your stay at Animal Kingdom will be a magical adventure!
