Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Driving and staying All Star Resort 12/10/11 thru 12/16/11. Want to make breakfast dining reservations at Kona Cafe and take monorail over to MK. If I park at TTC b/c you can't leave car at resort, how much does it cost? And how close to Poly is the TTC?

  • Hi Laura!

I have great news for you!  If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, then all of your parking is free within Walt Disney World.  When you check in to your Resort, tell them that you have a car and they will give you a parking pass to place on your dashboard.  You can park your car at the Ticket and Transportation Center and take the Resort Monorail to the Polynesian Resort which is the next stop.  You can actually walk from the Ticket and Transportation Center to the Polynesian Resort because it is very close (about a 5 to 10 minute walk).  I have done this walk twice and it is really enjoyable because you get to see the great scenery of the Polynesian Resort grounds on your way to Kona Cafe.  Then after your Kona Cafe breakfast is done, you can hop right on the Resort Monorail and travel to the Magic Kingdom which is the second stop from the Polynesian Resort.  After your magical day in the Magic Kingdom is complete, you can get on the Express Monorail which goes directly to the Ticket and Transportation Center or you can take the Ferry Boat back to the Ticket and Transportation Center if you prefer to have a more scenic route.

I hope that you have an amazing, even magical breakfast at the Kona Cafe on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
    Marc
