Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We will be visiting from 4/11 through 4/17 and are interested in the Jedi Training Academy for our two boys....when we look at the schedule for times, it simply says call for availability...what number do we call? and what does that mean? Thanks.

- Hi Kimberly!
I love the Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios! My son has done it twice and I did it with my nephew who is 10 years old (the week after Easter 2013). The times of day and the amount of shows per day for the Jedi Training Academy changes during the year due to different crowd levels so the times are not often posted online. When you arrive at Hollywood Studios you can pick up a Times Guide that will list the Jedi Training Academy times for that particular day. The Jedi Training Academy is very popular and you need to sign up as soon as the park opens for that day. Actually, I found out recently that sign ups for Jedi Training Academy start 15 minutes before the Hollywood Studios is scheduled to open on that particular day even when they have Morning Extra Magic Hours. So if Morning Extra Magic Hours begin at 8:00 am for example, then sign ups for Jedi Training Academy begin at 7:45 am. The Jedi Training Academy sign ups are in the ABC Sound Studio building (the first building on the right after the American Idol Experience as you are heading toward Star Tours--which was the old Sounds Dangerous attraction building). Typically you are able to sign up for a time slot of your choosing, but it is important that you get there first thing because usually the time slots fill up quickly and you might not have the ability to choose as they fill up. You will meet around 30 minutes before your scheduled show for some Jedi pre-training and to get your child's Jedi robe and Lightsaber right where you signed up earlier in the morning.
May the Force be with you as you and your family experience the Jedi Training Academy on your next Walt Disney World vacation!
