Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi!! We are going to be in Disney world next week and I am still feeling a little overwhelmed with all there is to do...My kids are 9 yr. boy and 7 1/2 yr girl (more of a Minnie Mouse kind of girl vs. a princess type) Are there any must do activities?

- Hi Lynn, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!
There are lots and lots of activities to experience at Walt Disney World and families should not plan to enjoy all of them on one vacation. It is better to choose some attractions before arriving and just go with your children feelings and interest once at the parks.
Walking through the parks can be a fun experience.
Magic Kingdom features attractions for more than 3 full days. Some of my family's favorite attractions are Peter Pan's Flight, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Haunted Mansion, Mickey's PhilharMagic, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Monster, Inc. Laugh Floor and the 3 roller coasters.
The Pirates League is a great experience to share as a family - the mermaid makeover is a must for girls.
At our kids age Animal Kingdom also features attractions for more than 1 full day (park usually closes early). This is a great park to experience animal habitats and to even touch some animals. All four shows at this park are really good.
Epcot is our favorite park to walk through and relax as a family. It is the park with the least amount of attractions for kids, but has spacious walkways, beautiful landscape, unique stores and an excellent culinary experience. Epcot also features interactive and manual activities for kids at different stations around the park.
Hollywood Studios is a really fun theme park with awesome attractions and shows. First thing in the morning enjoy Toy Story Midway Mania! and grab a FastPass for a later ride. Also, sign up the kids for Jedi Training Academy.
Make the most of early and late park hours.
Enjoy your vacation and thank you for visiting the panel.
