Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi panel, My family and I are visiting dec 20-23,2013 . I want to make the most of every trip and try to make each one a little different. Would you have any suggestions on fun things to do? We will be doing the holiday party in magic kingdom. Thanks

  • Hi, Victoria!

What a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World! The magic will be even more spectacular during the holiday season, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of the best ways to celebrate the season. Great choice!

Disney characters will be dressed in their holiday finest, so get some photos to remember your trip. Holiday decor draped throughout the park and...snow on Main Street, U.S.A...are both stunning. Stop for cookies and hot cocoa during the party to add something sweet to your evening.

Next, do not miss The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, over at Disney's Hollywood Studios. There, you'll be amazed by the wonder of millions of lights choreographed to fantastic holiday music. (Oh! And it SNOWS here, too!)

Tour Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to check out their annual gingerbread house display. To get just a glimpse of the grandeur of this tradition, check out Disney Parks Blog's post about gingerbread displays at Walt Disney World Resorts. The immersive fragrance of gingerbread will surely cause you to crave some, so you'll want a cookie to go!

Another favorite is Candlelight Processional Dinner Package, at Epcot's American Pavilion. With a fabulous meal followed by a performance by a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir, this is one event that will resonate with the entire family.

Send more questions as you think of them, Victoria; we love to help!
