Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Has anyone ever tried parasailing? What are the best times of day to do it? Is it better going solo or tandem? Do you have to get into the water at any point? TY

- Hello there Cherry-Ann!
While I have not been parasailing at walt Disney World, I have been few times in other destinations. Also from reading many of the Walt Disney World publications, I have been able to find some really good information for you.
As far as time of day to go parasailing, the earlier in the morning the better. Basically because, in Orlando you will get these afternoon rain showers which do not allow you to go parasailing and then there is a bottle neck of people waiting to go or the trips are canceled all together.
If you have more than one person going, I would recommend doing the tandem ride. It's always great to be able to share your experience with someone else and it turns out to be a little less expensive if you can share the cost.
From the trips that I have been on, you do not have to go into the water and it's the same as in Walt Disney World. Their boat has a platform in the back that you stand on and you are slowly raised into the air without touching the water.
I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
