Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I've heard that you can parasail while at WDW. Is this true? If so, where do you go and how much does it cost? Thanks for all your help!

- Hi Kristin,
Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre operates out of the Contemporary Resorts Marina. This is a private company that leases this space from WDW. At this location I have many times seen guests Water-skiing and Parasailing. I am not too certain of the rates as I have never done this before myself (go ahead...call me a chicken! you won't get me up there!), but I understand that it is cost comparable to parasailing at most other locations outside of Walt Disney World if this is something you are used to doing. They use a uniquely designed boat where you will take-off and land from the back of the boat and not the water which is usually how this is done. They offer a single flight and tandem flights. If you are a solo flyer then there is a minimum weight of 100 pounds. For reservations or for more information such as pricing, etc... I suggest you call Sammy Duvall's at (407) 939-0754 and you can make reservations up to 90 days in advance. These excursions may be canceled due to inclement weather just so you are aware of this and there is a 24 hour cancelation policy (you will be charged the full amount if this 24 hour notice to cancel is not given). I hope this helps you and if you decide to do this.....may you have a wonderful flight!!!!
