Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Are the restaurants and rides all open during the Pirates and Princess Party? Is this a guided, "stick with the group" type of party? Are there a limited number of tickets? Thanks so much!

  • While not all of the attractions and restaurants are open during the Pirates and Princess Parties, some of the most popular ones are.  Not to worry though, there will be plenty to see and do.  For instance, partygoers will be treated to a special parade and fireworks show.  There will also be lots of characters milling about to pose for photos and sign autographs.  Of course, Jack Sparrow will be on-hand to offer a pirate tutorial.  Likewise, Aladdin will be present and busy recruiting candidates for his Royal Guard.  And what would a Pirate and Princess party be with Princesses?  Rest assured, they'll be around too!

During the parties, guests are free to tour the park and participate in extra special events at their leisure; there is no guide to follow.  And yes, tickets are sold in limited numbers.

If you plan to go, be aware that your ticket will permit you entry into the park at 4:00 even though the party doesn't officially kick off until 7:00.  Use the extra time to grab a bite to eat and experience some of your favorite attractions so that when the party starts you'll be ready to take in all of the adventurous activities available.  Oh, and don't forget that little ones are encouraged to wear their best pirate or princess costumes to the event.  Have a great time!
