Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I am purchasing a 5 day pass and will be spending out first day (June 8th) at MGM for Star Wars weekend, but heard it is a small park would like to know what is the best park to visit that afternoon/evening after seeing MGM.

  • Hi Sheri,

I think you may be pleasantly surprised at how much you can actually do at Disney's Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM), especially with the added bonus of all the Star Wars weekend activities.  But if you do finish up and want to move to a nearby park, Epcot is not far away.  You could take the boat launch and actually visit the Boardwalk if you'd like to wander around there for a non-park experience - maybe even rent a bike!  Or, you could keep going to Epcot where you will enter at the International Gateway, which will take you into the World Showcase so you'd have a chance to explore many of the countries or move the opposite direction to visit Future World with the great attractions like Soarin' and Turtle Talk with Crush.  The one catch to visiting Future World later in the day is the probability that many of the fast passes will be already gone.

Have a magical trip and may the force be with you!
