Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are planning to be at Disney World during the last Star Wars weekend (which was just recently added). We aren't interested in it seeing or participating in it. Would it make sense for us to go to Hollywood Studios earlier in our trip? Thank you!

  • Hi Amy ~

We are huge Star Wars fans and love Star Wars Weekends. This is a really popular event and Star Wars fans come from near and galaxies far, far away to participate in this special experience.

From my experience, Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) gets pretty crowded on event days. Even if you are not focusing on Star Wars events, the crowds can make it hard to maneuver the park. If you have the opportunity to visit DHS earlier in your trip, I would recommend it.  If you can't visit DHS earlier, be sure to make your FastPass+ (FP+) selections ahead of time if you are staying on property. This will help you cut down on your wait time for attractions.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
