Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Taking my daughter and grandchildren. Boys want to do Jedi Training. I hear you have to sign up early. Is it possible for me and husband to go early and sign up the boys. Do they have to be with us. They will be at MK the night before late.

  • Hi Susan ~

You are an awesome Grandmother to take your daughter and grandchildren to Disney World and I love that you're planning ahead.

I love watching Jedi Training Academy even when my boys aren't participating.  Each child that wants to participate must be with you (or an adult) at the time they sign up. The Cast Members ask each potential Padawan a couple of questions to make sure they can follow basic instructions.

Jedi Training Academy is a very popular experience. Registration is on a first come first serve basis and when they've reached their capacity for the day, they will close registration. I'd recommend arriving at Hollywood Studios early and heading over to sign up to ensure a spot for the day.

Registration is held at the ABC Sound Studios near Star Tours and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. When you enter the park, head straight down Hollywood Boulevard. When you reach the Sorcerer's Hat, go left between Echo Lake and The American Idol Experience. The ABC Sound Studio will be on your right just beyond the American Idol Experience.

Please feel free to visit with all of your planning questions. It is our pleasure to assist you.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
