Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Would like my son to take part in the Jedi Training at Hollywood Studios. Where exactly do you go to sign up and what is the quickest way to get there from the entrance? Thanks!

  • Hi Rebecca!

I feel the force is strong with your youngling. Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios is out of this world fun for boys and girls ages 4 - 12 years old. I love to watch even when my sons are not participating.

Registration is held at the ABC Sound Studio near Star Tours and the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. When you enter the park, head straight down Hollywood Boulevard. When you reach the Sorcerer's Hat, go left between Echo Lake and The American Idol Experience. The ABC Sound Studio will be on your right just beyond the American Idol Experience.

Each child that wants to participate must be with you (or an adult) at the time they sign up. The Cast Members ask each potential Padawan a couple of questions to make sure they can follow basic instructions.

Jedi Training Academy is a very popular experience. Registration is on a first come first serve basis and when they've reached their capacity for the day, they will close registration. I'd recommend arriving at Hollywood Studios early and heading over to sign up to ensure a spot for the day.

Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
