Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I am looking for information on Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party in Epcot. Is it the same as the Dessert Party in the Magic Kingdom? The only info I could find on Disney web page is basically cost. Where is the seating in Epcot? Thanks

- Hi Rhonda ~
I was very excited to hear about the new IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot. While the concert is the same, this experience will be a little different than the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party at the Magic Kingdom. The desserts featured on the buffet will be from countries around the World Showcase. Sparkling wines from around the World Showcase will also be available. Non-alcoholic options will be offered as well.
Currently, the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party will only be offered on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It will begin at 7:45 p.m. and run until 9:20 p.m. It will take place at the Showcase Plaza which is on the Future World side of the World Showcase. I've attending some dessert parties at this location and it offers an excellent view of IllumiNations. If you are going from Future World to the World Showcase, just go straight and you should see it near the lagoon. The Cast Member I spoke with said that there will be limited seating and suggested getting there early.
The current pricing (always subject to change without notice) is $49.00 (ages 10 and up) and $29.00 for ages (3 - 9). These prices do not include tax and the Disney Dining Plan will not be accepted for this experience.
Reservations can be made 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
Please keep in mind that this is a new experience and while this seems to be the current plan, some things could change along the way.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
