Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My husband and I are traveling to Orlando for work, and get to sneak out for one day to EPCOT. Do you have advice on what to see or do without our kids?

- Hi Lynette!
Thanks so much for your question. A day in Epcot with your husband will be one of the best times you'll have this year! There are so many wonderful shops, attractions and restaurants to choose from, you could go around the "World" in less than a day. It all depends on what your preferences are.
If you're thrill seekers, I would suggest riding the two most popular rides in Epcot, Test Track and Soarin'. Be sure to get your FASTPASS selection for either of these rides as early as possible. You won't be able to get a FASTPASS for both, but it will help you save some time by getting a FASTPASS for one. Maelstrom is also a really fun ride to try, and so is Living with the Land. You'll get to see the Land Pavilion's greenhouse and all of the cool Mickey-shaped fruits and vegetables that they're able to grow there.
If you're all about the culinary selections, there are many to choose from. Spice Road Table is a great new tapas place that just opened in the Morocco Pavilion. Also in the Morocco Pavilion is Restaurant Marrakesh which includes Moroccan delicacies and belly dancers. My favorite restaurant is actually located in the France Pavilion. Chefs de France has a great menu and a beautiful atmosphere. The French onion soup is amazing.
If you have time to shop, Epcot is one of the best places to do so. There are so many shops to choose from, so pick a country and get browsing. Il Bel Cristallo is a great shop to browse through in the Italy Pavilion. They have a great collection of Murano glass to swoon over.
I hope this answered your question, Lynette. If you have any more questions before your trip, feel free to ask at any time.
Have a fantastical Disney day!
