Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My son is in the Army and is coming home for Christmas. He wants to go to Epcot. Will there be a charge to him to go to Epcot?
- - Asked by Teresa from Florida on 12/16/2012
- Hi Teresa,
Please thank your son for his service to our country. I'm so pleased to hear that he will be coming home for Christmas. You must be thrilled!
While your son cannot enter the Disney theme parks without a ticket, the Walt Disney Company does offer American servicemen and women discounted tickets. Military personnel can book discounted rooms at Walt Disney World resorts too. Unfortunately, there are block-out dates on these special promotions. I encourage your son to check with his U.S. military base ticket office to see what discounted tickets they have available for the period during which he'll be traveling.
Wishing your family a wonderful holiday season!
