Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- What is the best park for a 2 year old to visit? Animal Kingdom?

- Hi Dana,
If your two year old is an animal fan, as many are then, absolutely, Animal Kingdom is a wonderful place to visit. The pace of the park is slower, in my opinion than some of the others, as many of the trails can be explored at your own rate. This works great for small children. I do think there are great options for toddlers in all of the parks. My top pick is Magic Kingdom. Fantasyland is a tot's dream, as there are tons of attractions appropriate for the 2 and under crowd. Some of my kid's favorites at that age included:
- It's a Small World
- The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (there's also a pint-sized playground that looks like the 100 Acre Woods across from this ride which is great fun)
- The Carousel
- Aladdin's Magic Carpets
- Peter Pan
If your tot is a Playhouse Disney fan, you may want to visit Hollywood Studios. Playhouse Disney Live on Stage and the corresponding character meal, Play n' Dine at Hollywood and Vine gets rave reviews from kids. The show ends with bubbles, confetti and the audience singing "Happy Birthday" to Minnie Mouse. What else could a two-year old wish for?
Have a wonderful time!
