Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I just read in the Unofficial Guide that the Safari ride in Animal Kingdom is not recommended for pregnant women. I'll be 5 months pregnant when we go and don't want to miss that. What's the reason for the restriction, or in the UG wrong? Thanks :)

- Hi Summer,
The Kilimanjaro Safaris if a very bumpy ride. Not only to you get to take in all the great sites of the outback, but you also become characters in a developing storyline that involves poachers. This ride does have a warning that expectant mothers should not ride. I completely agree with the warning the bumps are just too intense.
You will be able to see plenty of animals at Animal Kingdom in places like, Discovery Island Trails.
Another great way to see more animals is to take a bus to the Animal Kingdom Villas. They have both counter service meals and two great table service restaurants. There are look out spots throughout the resorts where you can see some of their safari animals.
