Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Do ONLY the children that volunteer to be part of the story at Enchanted Tales with Belle get to have their picture taken with her?? I'm afraid my daughter will not want to participate because she can be shy. And what are the chances of not enough parts?

  • Melissa:

After seeing Enchanted Tales with Belle several times over the last few months, it seems that yes, the only ones who get a picture with Belle upon the attractions conclusion are those who either volunteer for parts in the "show" or are "volunteered," which happened to my teenage sons who were chosen as the story's knights, much to their chagrin... but not to me, their smiling mother...

There are enough parts for anyone who wants one--and the cast members will even ask once they've chosen all of the "traditional" parts from the eager children. At one of the shows, a mother evidently knew her children wouldn't get their picture made with Belle unless she "volunteered" her pre-schoolers for a part. She gently coaxed them forward, and they were included as the Salt and Pepper, I believe, in the story. All they had to do was stand there. Easy Peasy for shy little ones.

So, if your daughter is too shy to raise her hand and be picked for a "major" part, feel free to nudge her forward when the full casting call is announced. She'll not only get her picture made with Belle at the end of the "show" but also get one of Belle's coveted bookmarks to remember the occasion.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
