Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We aren't staying in a Disney resort but in a private home. Where and how can we take our grandchildren to meet characters - especially Mickey and Minnie. Also, when we pay for parking, can we come and go without paying again? The kids will need naps.

  • Hi, Pamela! You are going to find several character meet and greets in each of the four theme parks. There are many character dining experiences in the parks, too. If you want a break from the theme parks, you can also enjoy a character meal at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.  Mickey and Minnie are two of the easiest characters to find. Pick up a Times Guide as you enter the parks to see where and when to find them.  I am attaching my video about finding characters.  I hope you enjoy it!

You will only have to pay for parking once a day.  Keep the dated receipt you are given and show it to the parking Cast Member when you want to re-enter.  If you have Park Hopper passes, this also applies to changing parks.  You only pay parking at the first theme park of the day. You receipt works the rest of the day.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
