- Hi Julie,
My daughter and my family absolutely love playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom! You can be a Sorcerer just about any time that the Magic Kingdom is open. First, visit the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., or the Sorcerers' location behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square. For your first day, I suggest visiting the Firehouse. You will be given a pack of Sorcerer's spell cards and a key card, as well as a map of the locations that you may need to visit to battle villains. You will receive training on how to cast your spells to help Merlin defeat the villains. My family and I each present our theme park tickets for a pack of spell cards so that we have more spell cards!
When you leave your training, the cast member will tell you which portal you need to visit. Using the map provided, you will head to that portal and show your key card. You will then be guided through a series of tasks and a story in which you defeat villains. Each adventure takes about 20 - 30 minutes and is contained within one land. You can play one adventure, or you can continue from adventure to adventure and spend a day defeating villains.
Each day that you return to Magic Kingdom, head back to the Firehouse or behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe and get new packs of spell cards. You can get one pack per day, per person. Since you are attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, definitely stop by then to get the special Donald's nephews spell card that will only be available during the party.
Have a wonderful time defeating the villains at Magic Kingdom, Julie!
