Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My family has reservations at Crystal Palace at 5:55 pm on Wednesday, November 28. The electrical parade is scheduled to begin at 7 pm that night. Will we be able to enjoy our character meal AND see the parade? Thanks for any tips!

- Hey Amy!
We typically allow 90 minutes for our Character Dining Experiences. While The Crystal Palace is a buffet, and, therefore, has a shorter wait for your food, you'll want to take your time and make sure you see all of the characters. You definitely don't want to rush through your meal. Also, you may not be seated at exactly 5:55pm. While there is a possibility you'll be done by 7pm, I wouldn't necessarily make firm plans to see the Main Street Electrical Parade that evening.
If you do finish your meal in time, you'll want to head out of The Crystal Palace and walk to the left, towards Liberty Square. The parade route does not run directly in front of The Crystal Palace, so you'll want to position yourself to see it come around from the other side of "The Hub" (the large, central area in front of Cinderella Castle). Many guests grab their parade spots well before parade time and you may not be able to grab a great vantage point so close to 7pm.
My suggestion would be to finish your meal and scope out a spot to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular instead. If you walk to the right when you exit The Crystal Palace, you can grab a perfect spot in front of Casey's Corner. It's our favorite place to watch the fireworks.
I hope this helps, Amy! Your vacation will be here before you know it! Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions as you countdown to your magical trip.
