Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- What is "Kiss Goodnight" at Magic Kingdom???
- - Asked by Monica from Ontario on 10/9/2012
- Hi there Monica,
The Kiss Goodnight is a very special magical touch that serves a thank you to guests who have visited the Magic Kingdom. This is an unadvertised little perk that many guests overlook.
Each night, after the park has closed, and those last few guests are busy finishing up last minute shopping on Main Street, or hustling to the exit after that last ride on Space Mountain, a magical music and light show takes place on Cinderella Castle. You can hear the audio from all over the park and I always get chills when I hear Roy Disney's dedication speech fill the air. The beautiful light display that covers Cinderella Castle can be seen from within the park as well as from boats leaving the Magic Kingdom.
To experience this beautiful "Kiss Goodnight" be sure to keep an eye on Cinderella Castle about 30 minutes after the park closes, and be quick... the show only lasts for about 3 minutes!
