Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- What are the weight restrictions on rides?
- - Asked by Teresa from Ohio on 6/21/2009
- There are posted weight restrictions for some recreational
opportunities at WDW. For example, the weight limit for a parasailing
flight at the Contemporary resort is 330 pounds and the weight limit
for horseback riding at Fort Wilderness is 250 pounds. These limits are
strictly in place for guest safety.
I know of no specific weight restrictions for the rides within the
theme parks. While there are no specific weight limits in the parks,
larger guests might feel uncomfortable with the seating on some of the
WDW rides and attractions. Moms Panelist Heather R does a fabulous job
of explaining this HERE.
