Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Can you tell me how Rider Swap works and how it works with the new Fast Pass+ system?
- - Asked by Erin from New York on 1/27/2014
- Hi Erin,
The Rider Switch Service is an excellent way for the entire family to enjoy the rides they want to ride with out worrying about height restriction and/or those rides that may leave some children or adults a little leery about whether or not it is the ride for them.
If you are using a FastPass+ then all Guests intending to ride should technically have a FastPass+ as well. Sometimes Cast Members may overlook this but it is best to play by the rules. Once you arrive to your attraction you will let the Cast Member know you are participating in the Rider Switch Service and he/she will pass you a Rider Switch ticket. The first rider will head into the FastPass+ queue and then after riding meet back with their family. The second Guest will pass his/her Rider Switch ticket to the Cast Member at the FastPass+ line and continue into the queue. The second Guest is permitted to take an extra Guest with them.
Check out the video our Mom's Panelist Michelle was in that helps explain it as well.
I hope your visit at Walt Disney World is magical and memorable and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.
