Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Do any of the rides offer seat belt extenders for the Pooh sized guest? I can't seem to find any clear answers about that and would love to know before I wait for a ride that I won't fit on. Thanks so much!

  • Hi, KR!  I enjoy answering the plus-size questions because I am a very plus-size gal myself.  Walt Disney World is much more accommodating than I ever expected.  The Cast Members have always been very helpful, kind, and discreet when I have had a question about seat sizes.  I have never had a Cast Member be disrespectful or dismissive of my questions or concerns.  You can see just how plus-size I am in the 2011 Disney World Moms Panel video I have attached.  In the picture with Cinderella's Royal Coach, I am the second from the right.  Believe it or not, I fit on EVERY ride in ALL four parks!  There are seat belt extenders for some of the rides, but the supplied ones are very ample. If you haven't already, check out the "WDW at Large" section of the AllEars.net website.  It goes into great detail about seat sizes, which ones have extenders available, and where is the best place to sit on each ride. It helped me tremendously in alleviating my anxiety about fitting into rides, theater seats, etc...  before my first trip. There is a wealth of information available there. If you have any specific questions about certain rides/theater seats, etc..., I'll be happy to try and answer them.  Just send them to me! Don't stress! You CAN have a Magical vacation at Walt Disney World!
