Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My family of 5 will be at WDW in Feb. At that time we will have a 7yo and 2yo twin boys. It will be the twins 1st trip. One of the twins has Down Syndrome. Any special treatment for him? Also, any suggestions on attractions or shows?

- Hi Kerri! It is great that you are planning ahead for your February Disney vacation as there are many changes taking place now and new things opening up for you to explore.
When you arrive at the parks and feel that your son might have issues with the normal queuing for the attractions you can find the location where you can get a type of "fastpass" for him. This is part of the new system Disney has announced that will go into place beginning early October. It will allow you to know the time to return to an attraction so you can entertain and keep the little ones happy during the wait. Please know that Disney has worked for the last few years in rebuilding their queue lines making them fun and interactive. I suggest you try using the normal lines to see if your boys will enjoy that type of entertainment. You will have options and can certainly use normal lines for some attractions and get assistance for others at your discretion.
Each park has wonderful things for the ages of your children to enjoy. The Magic Kingdom is geared to them and suggest at least two days in this park. Animal Kingdom will be a hit as well and make sure you head to Rafiki's Planet Watch where the kids can meet and greet live animals as well as some of their favorite characters. Be sure to also take time to watch the wonderful show, The Festival of the Lion King.
Epcot includes fun and one of the best character meet and greets is located centrally in Future World. The kids can meet and greet most of the famous Disney characters in one place. Turtle Talk With Crush in the Seas, the Land boat ride, and Imagination are all wonderful attractions for the children. When heading to the Hollywood Studios be sure and find the Disney Junior stage shows as well as Toy Story Mania. The younger ones will at least enjoy the ride and bright colors and actions.
Remember to do what is necessary to keep everyone happy and relaxed!
