  • I'd like to know the difference between Disney Photopass and Disney Memory maker.

  • Hello Benjamin!

Thanks so much for your question!  Disney PhotoPass Service is a fantastic way to capture all of your family's photos during your vacation.  Taking advantage of the service is easy since there are literally hundreds of locations around Walt Disney World to capture these photos.  The first time you do this, just ask for a Disney PhotoPass Card from the photographer and then present the card each time after that to have the photos added to your account.  There's absolutely no charge for this service during your vacation. Once you get home, just go online to the Disney PhotoPass site to view all your photos, customize them with borders and graphics, and purchase individual prints or downloads you'd like for your very own.

Memory Maker utilizes the Disney PhotoPass Service, but builds on it.  By purchasing Memory maker, you get digital copies of all of the photos on your Disney PhotoPass account.  Plus, you can add photos from select attractions and character dining spots.  It's completely digital, so you can view, download and share your photos just minutes after they're taken.  Once you're home, you'll then be able to download the digital files and have them printed in any way you prefer.  There's no limit to the number of photos or the number of times you can download them.  If you're interested in Memory Maker, the most affordable option is the advance purchase, which requires a 3-day waiting period before you can start adding photos.  You'll then have 45 days from when the photo was taken to download it off your account.

I hope that helps, Benjamin, and wishing you a most magical vacation!

    Beth
