Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I know that Memory Maker is still new, but from what you've heard, is it better to use PhotoPass+ or Memory Maker? We leave on Saturday for WDW and I'm having a hard time deciding! We want everyone in our group to be able to have their pics made.

- Hi Stephanie! I think once you understand how the new Memory Maker works you'll really like it...let me help explain some key features.
Memory Maker is 100% digital and fully integrated with your My Disney Experience account.
Similar to PhotoPass+ with Memory Maker you can capture your vacation memories at all Disney PhotoPass locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. However, unlike PhotoPass+ the new Memory Maker allows unlimited downloads of your photos directly to your computer until the photos expire 45 days from the day they were taken.
Instead of paying individually for each photo, when you purchase Memory Maker you'll be able to enjoy as many photos as you like throughout Walt Disney World Resort and Downtown Disney including character meetings, iconic locations, select attractions and feature restaurants.
Best of all, because Memory Maker is directly linked with your My Disney Experience account, you'll have immediate access to view or download your pictures and those from any family and friends connections linked in your account. Which means only one person needs to purchase Memory Maker for everyone to enjoy the perks. All you have to do is tap your MagicBand or use your PhotoPass card and your pictures will appear in your account.
You still have access to all the great Disney PhotoPass borders and stickers to help customize your photos that you can then download and print at your convenience.
Be sure to purchase Memory Maker at least 3 full days before your arrival date and you will save $50 off the regular price of $199 AND ensure you can begin capturing magical memories the moment your vacation begins.
