Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I am heading straight to magic kingdom on the November 25th before we check in to the Caribbean beach resort. We have the armbands with all our info on them tickets fast pass etc. Will they be able to see our information so we aren't charged for parking?

  • Hi Elaine!

It's so wonderful to hear from a fellow Floridian! My family and I were just there this past weekend and had the same situation. When you arrive to the Magic Kingdom Gates/Parking, the only way the Cast Members know that you are staying at a Disney Resort would be if you have the parking pass displayed on your windshield. The parking pass is given at check-in time. To my knowledge, they are not equipped to scan the MagicBands to gather your reservation information. I would recommend that you do the on-line check in to your resort and then you can simply stop by early in the morning before you visit the park and pick up your packet which contains the parking pass and room keys. The room may or may not be ready but you will at least have everything you need. Otherwise you may have to pay for parking, which is $15.00 for autos. For more information on the parking fees, please visit Parking Lot Fees.

If I can assist you with any other planning question, please feel free to send them my way!
