Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Is valet parking at DW resorts an option for visiting the theme parks and using their transit system? I would like to park all day at one of the MK resorts and take the boat to and from MK. If so, do you know how much and would they validate if we ate a me

  • Hi there Marie,

Valet parking is very convenient when you are staying or visiting the Walt Disney World resorts! You certainly cannot beat leaving your car and letting someone else worry about finding a parking space when you are running slightly late for a meeting or dinning reservation. It is also a wonderful service because if you need to go to another Deluxe resort, you would be able to use the valet at the other resorts as well.

Let's say, you are staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and have paid for valet parking, you will receive a hang tag which states that you have valet. If you decide to go to the Polynesian Resort later that day to meet a friend for any reason, you can use valet parking there without having to pay an additional charge. You can keep the car there as long as you want and then drive back to Animal Kingdom later on that evening.

Walt Disney World resorts will not validate parking. Valet parking is an option for resort guests and isn't complimentary unless you have a handicap tag from your home state or are a member of Tables in Wonderland with dining reservations.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel, Marie! If you have additional questions, we are always here for you!
