  • To go from Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom, which is faster: take a bus or drive our car? We are taking our first trip in Nov. and want to see the Osborne lights and Wishes (8pm) on the same night. Would love to make it in time for the 7pm parade too.

  • Hi Kara, Wow, it sounds like you are on a mission (very tight planning). If you have your own car, I would definitely choose that option over the busses anyday. The busses do not travel from Park to Park, so you must get a bus from one Park to another resort (best if this is closer to your second choice park) and then hop on another bus from that resort to your next Park choice (or other mode of transportation if available such as the monorail or boats). From Hollywood Studios to Magic Kingdom it is actually not that hard as you could go to Grand Floridian or the Polynesian where it is very easy to hop on the monorail just one or two stops to Magic Kingdom. I think your best chance of getting from Park to Park will be much quicker if you drive yourselves though, I almost always rent a car at WDW and I have also used the busses, in my opinion it has always been faster with my own car. Have a great upcoming trip! Best wishes, Brigitta
