Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My husband & I were at WDW Oct '12 and had a great time celebrating Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween. We plan on returning 9-15 Nov '14, will the parks be decorated for Christmas by then? Christmas Around the World at Epcot etc.

- Hi Sylvia!
The holidays are my absolute favorite time of the year to visit Walt Disney World. They seem to add an extra layer of magic to the resort. Magic Kingdom Park will begin getting its holiday makeover in time for the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which typically takes place the first week of November. The other theme parks and the Walt Disney World Resorts will slowly begin getting in the holiday spirit through November, with completion around Thanksgiving.
Epcot's Holidays Around the World traditionally begins around Thanksgiving, but the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios lights up the night skies starting in early November (the rumored start date for this year is November 7th.) The Osborne Lights are my favorite part of Walt Disney World holidays. I could stay under those lights forever.
I hope this helps, Sylvia. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you're planning your holiday vacation. I'd love to help you make it as magical as possible.
