  • Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Karol ~

Christmas at Disney World is amazing! The parks and resorts are absolutely beautiful.

While there is no exact published date for all of the decorations to come down, if you want to see everything and experience all of the festivities and the parks in all of their holiday glory, I'd suggest a trip before New Years Eve.

The last night for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at Disney's Hollywood Studios is January 5, 2014. Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade at Disney's Animal Kingdom also runs through January 5, 2014. After that, I would think that most everything will start to come down pretty quick. Its a big operation, so it may not all come down overnight.

Keep in mind that some things may end prior to January 5, 2014.  Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Time Parade ends its post Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party run on December 31, 2013.

The good news about going later in January is that you'll avoid the holiday crowds. However, you'll also miss the fabulous holiday decorations as well. To be guaranteed you'll see it all, you should go no later than New Year's Eve.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're thrilled to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
