Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are going to be at the Magic Kingdom the day after Thanksgiving this year. I understand that the Christmas decorations will be up. Are they mainly on Main street or are any of the attractions decorated as well. Is there anything we shouldn't miss?

- Cecilia, be prepared to be wowed by the hundreds of Christmas trees, thousands of poinsettias, and zillions of twinkling lights decorating Walt Disney World for the holidays.
Main Street, U.S.A. is decked out for the season, but perhaps the most spectacular sight in the Magic Kingdom is Cinderella Castle awash in lights once the sun goes down. Over 200,00 lights, 18 miles of electric cable, and over 40,000 square feet of fisherman's net are used to transform the Castle into a glowing, enchanted sight. Be sure to stick around until dark so you won't miss this ultimate holiday decoration.
The resorts, decorated to perfection, are spectacular during the holidays. Consider visiting one to check out the well themed trimmings. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort's Victorian holiday trimmings include a giant, edible gingerbread house you can walk into.
If you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights is an uber Christmas light display that began in one family's yard in Arkansas. Lights start going up in September so that the massive exhibit will be ready in time for the season.
Enjoy your holiday visit to Mickey!
