Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Are there any special New Year's Eve fireworks at any of the theme parks? I have looked at the calendar and none of the parks include this information, other than their regular fireworks. Thanks! I've learned so much from this panel! 1st time going!

- Hi Sonia!
Congratulations on your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
The three theme parks showing special New Year's Eve fireworks would be Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom will be showing Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50 p.m. This is a different fireworks display than the regular fireworks programming called Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. Epcot typically shows an extended version of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. Disney's Hollywood Studios usually offers both special holiday fireworks and Fantasmic! However, I don't see the fireworks programming at Disney's Hollywood Studios listed on the website yet.
Do look into the Special Holiday Dining offerings on New Year's Eve. In the Downtown Disney Area, there will be a New Year's Eve countdown and confetti drop at midnight during the New Year's Eve Party at DisneyQuest Interactive Theme Park.
If you are going to be at a theme park on New Year's Eve, I would suggest visiting Epcot. This theme park rarely closes due to capacity, as it easily absorbs greater numbers of Guests. Please let me know if I can answer any other question for you.
Enjoy celebrating New Year's Eve Disney-style!
