  • We are planning our next visit for December 3rd 2012. What are the must do's for these time. Since it is the Holiday season.

  • Early December is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World. The weather is usually still balmy, the Christmas crowds have not yet arrived, and the spectacular decorations are up!

Do plan to attend MIckey's Very Merry Christmas Christmas Party in the Magic Kingdom. On certain nights the park is open late for this festive celebration that has a special parade, holiday fireworks, hot chocolate and cookies, and snow. Tickets typically go on sale for this event in early May.

Be sure to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Streets of America are strung with millions of lights. This dazzling display began as an Arkansas family's holiday fun that moved to Walt Disney World in the mid 1990s.

In Epcot the Candlelight Processional is a holiday tradition. Every night during the season an orchestra,a huge candle carrying choir, and a celebrity narrator present the original Christmas story. This year I saw an amazing narration by Neil Patrick Harris. Seating is on a first come basis but there are Candlelight Dinner Packages available that guarantee you a seat.

Visit Disney's Grand Floridian Resort to see the giant gingerbread house and beautiful decorations.

Here it is January and I am already excited about Christmas. I can't wait to bring out the red and green Mickey cookie sprinkles and hang our Disney ornaments on the tree.
