Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Does everybody need a ticket to go to the pirate party? And is it worth it if you already plan to be in the park that day?

  • Yes, everyone needs a ticket to attend Disney's Pirate and Princess Party.  You can save if you purchase them online before the event, and save about $2.00 a ticket.  If you have several tickets to purchase it could add up.  Around 4pm on the day of the party there will be cast members in various places in the park to scan your ticket and give you a wrist band.  If you don't then when the park closes, you will have to exit and re-enter with your ticket. I try to get the wristbands as early as possible.

Is it worth it?  It all depends on your family, my kids range from 7 to 14 and each of them loved it.  It was special, and we would do it again.  Everyone was given a treasure map and a treasure bag to put their treasures in as they would begin their adventure.  The park wasn't over crowded, the parade was awesome, and the Mayhem Fireworks, were very memorable.

    Good luck! Heather M.
