  • Hi Maria:

Thanks for coming back and sending me your question.  I really appreciate it!  I am glad to hear you are planning on attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it is one of my favourite special events at Walt Disney World Resort.  In my opinion, dressing up makes the experience even more fun!  Disney has a few guidelines for guests attending the party, with regard to costumes.  First of all, all of the costumes need to be child friendly, and not-so-scary.  Masks must not be obstructive, and your eyes must be able to be seen by guests and Cast Members.  Long dresses such as wedding dresses are strongly discouraged as they can be dangerous getting on and off attractions and walking throughout Magic Kingdom Park.  Finally, one of the most important rules is that if guests choose to dress up like a princess, they are not to sign autographs for other guests.  I love that you are planning to dress up and I honestly feel that you can modify your costumes to fit within these guidelines.

Have a SPOOKTACULAR time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall Maria!  Once again, if you think of any other questions, please let me know, I would be happy to help.

    Stephanie
