Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hello! Where do you think the best spot to see the Main Street Electrical Parade is? I remember seeing the original version of it in the Magic Kingdom over 30 years ago, and now I can't wait to have my kids see it this year!

- Hi again Colleen! There are a few great spots to see the Main Street Electrical Parade (or any parade at the Magic Kingdom!) depending on what you'd like to experience. If you'd like to have an unobstructed view of all the floats AND Cinderella Castle in the background, upstairs at the Main Street Railroad Station is the perfect spot. However, it's also one of the most popular, so you'll need to line up really early to secure this location. Another great place is right behind the bench with Roy Disney and Minnie Mouse, right before you head down Main Street, U.S.A. - or at the "Hub" right in front of the Castle at the end of Main Street. You can get some great photos with the Castle as well as seeing the floats twice as they make the turn around the circle at the beginning and end of the street. Again, these are two popular spots and will require staking out your claim early.
One of my favorite places to see the parades is either in Frontierland or Liberty Square. The crowds aren't as bad in these locations and it's easier to find a good spot without lining up an hour ahead of time. I hope you find a great spot that works for your family and enjoy the parade - it's one of my favorites!! Have a wonderful time!
