Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Do I need to pack towels for the water parks?
- - Asked by Nancy from Alabama on 6/7/2009
- Towels are available to rent at the water parks. Prices can change, but currently these are $2 each per day. The towels are not large or plush like beach towels; they are more like the towels in a hotel room.
You are welcome to rent the towels that are there, or you can bring your own. The best way to go depends on how you'll be using your towel. In my family, we don't do much lounging at the water parks, we go nonstop on the slides and really only use the towels for a quick dry-off at the end. For us, the rental towels work well -- we don't have to pack or carry large bulky towels and we're not carrying home something wet.
However, if you'll be spending lots of time sunning yourself on a chaise, you may be more comfortable with a more beachy towel.
There are also plenty of large, beautiful beach towels for sale in the water park shops, if you want to decide which way to go when you get to the park.
