Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Will Disney let us celebrate my DD17 graduation in January when we come or is it to early? We are homeschooled so we planned this trip in a dead part of the year for us. Thanks for all you do!

  • You are more than welcome to celebrate your daughter's graduation anytime you want!  Last year my family did a Grand Gathering at Walt Disney World.  We called it a "Four Generation Celebration" and we used the opportunity to celebrate all sorts of events that had occurred throughout the year.  The trip took place in September but during it, we celebrated my 30th birthday (that occurred in October) my mom's 50th birthday (January), my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary (June) and even my nephew's first trip to WDW.

You may want to order a specialty cake to help celebrate the occasion.  If so, give them a call at 407-827-2253.  Some other fun suggestions are:

-dinner at the Hoop De Doo
-renting a surrey bike at the Boardwalk
    - parasailing at the Contemporary
    - a specialty cruise

Have a great trip and please pass along my early "Congrats" to your daughter!
