Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are planning to visit Early December 2008 with a 2 year old and a 9 year old. What are some things that are a must to see and do? My husband and I have been wanting to see WDW at Christmas for years. Can you help me? Thanks so much!! Stephanie

  • Christmas is so magical at WDW, and you will be visiting at a great time since the crowds shouldn't be too bad during the week and the resorts are not as expensive.  With smaller crowds, I think you will be able to see many of the attractions and rides from all four parks without much difficulty.  Now with your visit being in December, there are some extra opportunities that are worth visiting:
    - Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (this does cost extra)
    - Epcot's Candlelight Processional (this can be tied into a dinner reservation)
    - the resorts, specifically the Grand Floridian and the Wilderness Lodge (consider dining at the resorts)
Don't be surprised if you see some snow, too, during your trip!  But don't worry, it's Disney snow, so no driving hazards :-)
