Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
We are planning a trip to Disney in the beginning of February 2014. We were wondering if Disney did anything special for this occasion? Are there special decorations, events, etc. during this time of year?
Thank you for your assistance!

- Hi Mireille!
Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! Cooler temperatures and less crowds can make February a great time to visit, especially with your sweetheart. Last year both Disney World and Disneyland celebrated this special time of year in a big way with their True Love week, which was apart of Disney's Limited Time Magic promotion. Special character meet and greets, photo opportunities with Cinderella's Carriage, one of kind shows and exceptional meals were all apart of this celebration. While there is no word if this will be returning this year, I will certainly have my fingers crossed! Make sure to check back with us to see what new year will bring to Walt Disney World.
February is also typically host to special events such as RunDisney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend, exhibits for Black History Month and celebrations for Chinese New Year which is held in January or February depending on the year. Despite when you visit, there is always a reason to celebrate, maybe a birthday or "unbrithday" , an anniversary, achievement or just celebrating the fact that you are in Walt Disney World, there is always special ways to commemorate your visit.
Fireworks cruises, Carriage Rides, elegant meals, custom cakes and in-room celebrations are just a few fun ideas for your visit to Walt Disney World. Disney's Cast Members are thrilled to help you celebrate in a big way, check out many of Disney Celebrations for lots of ideas for your upcoming vacation.
I hope you have a magical vacation, Mireille! If you need anymore help planning a special celebration or idea for your upcoming vacation, please visit us again!
