Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My Husband and I are travelling in December for our Honeymoon with our children (aged 5 & 6 )
Can you give me any ideas to make it special? We are travelling 8 months after our wedding and want to make it the best it can be.

- Hi Gemma! Honeymooning at Disney will be a special vacation for you and your family and December is a wonderful month to be there.
Be sure and book the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party when they announce the dates for this year. The entire family will enjoy being in the Magic Kingdom to enjoy the holiday parade with hot cocoa and cookies. It even snows on Main Street! You will also want to head to Hollywood Studios to see the magnificent Osborne Lights display. Millions of lights strung up and down the street facades will actually dance to music every 15 minutes. Also don't forget to hit the Grand Floridian to see the giant gingerbread house and the Beach Club to see the chocolate carrousel in the lobby.
For something very special where you all can be together I suggest you book a fireworks cruise. My preference at this time of year is the Illuminations one as they add about a 10 minute show to the end just for the holidays. You can order a special cake and champagne or any other item through private dining at the resort you are booked out of to be delivered to the boat. The kids will love this and it is just you and the driver!
Add something special to your room to be delivered on your arrival. You can choose floral or foods or just decor and you can find all those choices through www.disneyflorist.com.
Pick one evening and make a reservation for just you and your husband. Book an in room sitter through Kids Nite Out and maybe head over to Victoria and Alberts for some fine dining to celebrate your marriage. If you wish to make a late night of it then head over to Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk to enjoy the dueling pianos.
There are so many possibilities and not enough time to do them all!
