Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Love the panel! My fiance and I are wanting to honeymoon in WDW in Sept 2012. What deluxe resort would you recommend: GF, POLY, Contemp, WL? Also, is it worth it to get the honeymoon suite with club level? Or just a reg room with theme park view? Thanks!

- Casey, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! A honeymoon in Walt Disney World is romantic and fun! My husband and I honeymooned at the Grand Floridian and have shared many anniversary memories there as well!
I am partial to the Grand Floridian, however all of your choices have their strong points. It sounds like you wish to be near the Magic Kingdom.
Let me see if I can help you narrow your choices. I would cross off the Contemporary Resort. While historical and very close to the Magic Kingdom, it is also the site of many business conventions which can remind a honeymooning couple of reality. Let's look for more magic!
Since a view of a theme park also seems to be important to you, cross off the Wilderness Lodge. While this resort is beautiful, the views of the Magic Kingdom are limited.
So, we are down to the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian. Both resorts offer deluxe amenities, views of the Magic Kingdom and romantic atmospheres.
I've personally stayed in a Club Level honeymoon suite at the Grand Floridian. We were right above the Gasparilla Grill looking straight out to Cinderella's Castle. Memorable! The room was beautiful with a king bed, jacuzzi tub, sitting area with sofa and a balcony offering that tremendous view.
Club Level does offer an exquisite experience. If theme park view is more important than the size of the room, then I would opt for a standard room with a theme park view. It'll get you a bit closer to the castle and your balcony is likely to feel more private.
I recommend looking at pictures such as those at www.AllEars.Net to help make your decision. Let me know if I can help any further. Best wishes for a lifetime of magical memories!
