Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My parents are going to wdw for their anniversary, 35th, in April and us kids in Indiana and Louisianna would like to do something special for them. Is there anything we can do from such a long distance?

- The incredibly talented cast members at the Disney Florist and Gift Basket department can create a magical gift that can be waiting in the room for your parents when they arrive. The web address for this department is www.disneyflorist.com, but in your case, I would suggest calling them personally at 407-827-3505.
Not only can they create a basket with yummy treats or Disney souvenirs, they can also incorporate almost anything you'd like to send them into a personalized gift basket. I heard one of the Gift Basket cast members tell a story about a family they worked with that had a special flip-flop that the family members tried to give each other as a joke gift on every possible occasion. The icky old flip-flop was mailed to the florist and they worked it into a beautiful gift basket as a surprise. Obviously, you want something more special for an anniversary gift, but i tell the story to let you know that anything is possible. So, you could have each member of the family write a personal note to your parents. Or you could create a special photo album or a video or audio recording of some kind. Any of these personal and meaningful items could be festooned with some Disney magic and become part of a wonderful gift basket that I'm sure would bring tears to their eyes.
You could also arrange for reservations for a lovely dinner at one of the magnificent signature dining restaurants at WDW. You could leave a credit card number to pre-pay for your parent's meal. To ask about this, you should call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE.
Your parents are lucky to have such thoughtful children!
