  • Hi Heidi,

I travel to WDW at Christmas & its so UNBELIEVABLE! My space is limited but here are some stand outs. Cinderella Castle is covered in 1000s of twinkling lights that looks like its glistening in ice cycles - its breath taking & no words can even begin to describe it.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special ticketed event held on select evenings at MK. Dates have not been announced for 2010 yet but typically end just before Christmas so I'm not sure if there will be any dates during your trip. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights at DHS. The Candlelight Processional held nightly at Epcot - the Christmas story is retold by a celebrity narrator accompanied by an orchestra & mass choir.

Resorts & theme parks are decorated beyond your wildest dreams. Some resorts have edible Christmas displays. There are huge Christmas trees & it even snows on Main Street. There are special shows & Christmas parades. If you've ever watched the annual Disney Parks Christmas Parade, you've seen a little of what it is like. The Christmas specials on The Travel Channel w/ Samantha Brown give you a behind the scenes look at the Christmas magic.

I understand the need to make a Dec. 24th BD special. The awesome Cast Members at the Disney Floral & Gift Dept can help you make it super special. They have gifts for every occasion &  budget. Visit them on-line or by calling 407-827-3505.
