Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Our family is traveling to Disney World at the beginning of March for 8 days. The vacation happens to fall under both my son (age 3) and my mom's (age 58) birthdays. Could you make some suggestions of great things to do for both? My son loves tigger.

- Hi Shannon! What a wonderful way to celebrate your son and mom's birthdays! My family has a similar situation because both my 9 year-old and my mom's birthdays are within days of each other. Since your son loves Tigger, I suggest trying to get an advanced dining reservation at The Crystal Palace for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food is excellent there and Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet and Tigger are usually on hand to help you celebrate your special occasions.
Of course be sure ask a cast member for birthday buttons for both of them. You might get some surprises(like free desserts at some restaurants)! If you like, you can also call Disney's Cake Ordering Hotline at 407-827-2253. There you can order a special custom made cake just for your son, mom or both!
As far as your mom's birthday, if she wants to do something other than a character buffet for her special day, there is always the interactive fun of the 50's Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios, always a great spot to celebrate a birthday!
To see more Tigger, be sure to head to the Magic Kingdom early to get a Fast Pass or ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. While there, head over to Pooh's Thoughtful Spot to run off a bit of energy in that fun activity area. Tigger usually appears for pictures outside this area throughout the day, but check with a cast member when you arrive to be sure.
Have a wonderful vacation and I hope both your son and your mom have magical birthdays!
